Another story of a child who was reportedly left unattended by her parents has captured the attention of Filipino netizens.
The child in question can be seen in a status update posted on the popular Facebook page, Random Photos. The post links to an article by a popular local trending news site.
The post's caption read:
To find out what the issue was all about, we headed to the source. Based on the reports, the story goes as follows:
A little girl was left outside of a Puregold branch in Austin Land. Luckily for her, a concerned citizen was there to help.
The concerned citizen, Monica Maraganas, realized that the girl she saw outside the popular supermarket needed help finding her way home. So, she took matters into her own hands. She resolved to return the girl to her family.
Maraganas posted photos of the little girl on Facebook. She also added the following caption in the hopes that someone on the internet might be able to help.
"Hi guys!!
Fortunately, the little girl's aunt saw the post and immediately contacted the kind Facebook user.
According to sources, the aunt claims that the girl's father apparently left her outside the supermarket to play Bingo.
She also provided a photo of the girl's father:
It was accompanied by the following comment (also from the little girl's aunt):
