Ever since he starred in the remake of ‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo,’ Ian Veneracion has been making ladies (married woman and otherwise) swoon with his boyish mestizo looks.
It doesn’t matter that he’s already 42-years-old, he still looks like a totally dreamy hunk.
Facebook fan page ‘BEKIMON’ released a series of Ian’s pictures back when he was still a young boy. It has already received 1.7 thousand likes as of this writing and 384 “love” reacts from netizens.
Ian started his showbiz career way back in 1982. He appeared in ‘Joey and Son,’ a show in Radio Philippines Network 9. In 1986, he joined GMA’s teen variety show ‘That’s Entertainment,’ hosted by the late German Moreno.
In 2001, he had his first appearance on a GMA teleserye, ‘Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin,’ alongside Angelika dela Cruz.
Ian transferred networks in 2003 and joined ABS-CBN, where he was immediately given a role in ‘Darating Ang Umaga,’ a show helmed by Vina Morales and Eula Valdez.
This was also where he was able to work with Jodi Sta. Maria for the first time, who would become his onscreen partner in ‘Pangako Sa ‘Yo.’ Ian played the role of Abel Reverente, while Jodi played the role of Nicole Del Fuego.
By 2004, the actor went back to GMA and appeared in lots of shows. He became a Kapamilya once again in 2007. In 2008, GMA welcomed him back.
By 2011, Ian had ended his stint in GMA for good and decided to stay with ABS-CBN, where he finally gained recognition and fame after years of switching in between networks.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Here are some of his pictures from his younger days:
And look at him now! Isn’t he a dream?
