The reports of this Japanese man hitting an 11-year-old kid for no reason sparked public outrage in social media.
Airport authorities arrested 50-year-old Koichi Kuroda for allegedly hitting the son of a fellow passenger in Japan Airlines Flight JAL 745 from Japan.
The father of the victim recounted the incident explaining that his son was doing nothing to Kuroda, at least nothing that will trigger him to be violent; but the Japanese man showed his arrogance at the baggage conveyor area.
People who witnessed the beastly behavior almost became a mob to seize him until the officials came and responded to the situation.
Kuroda was later known to be an influential businessman with a company in Cavite.
However, the father of the 11-year-old refused to agree to a settlement and he pushed through a formal complaint affidavit at the Pasay Prosecutors Office where Kuroda will be charged of violation of child abuse law.
Kuroda is currently detained at a facility inside the airport but will soon be handled by the Airport Police Investigation and Detective Service office.
