A Vietnamese girl was left disfigured after a stranger did a barbaric acid attack on her. The girl, named Nhi, now experiences difficulty in breathing and seeing.
A certain Wendy Vu from East Sussex, a
nail technician, went on a trip to Vietnam and was able to meet Nhi. That is when she decided to do something to help the poor little girl.

According to dailymail.co.uk, Vu raised money for Nhi's treatment and she was able to gather £5,000 to help the 10-year-old girl.
'I was appalled by what I saw and was aware that the girl's mother was extremely poor and that in Vietnam there is no national health service," Vu said to DailyMail.
"I decided to embark on a fundraising initiative to pay for the essential basic medical treatment that Nhi required," she added.
The kind-hearted Wendy Vu, who originated from Vietnam, came back for Nhi. Thanks to her efforts and the assistance of Park Lane Group, the little girl went to surgery.
However, the doctors said that due to unclean water, Nhi's eyes have become infected and drinking unclean water is not helping her condition either.
