Senators Bong Revilla and Jinggoy Estrada are still hopeful that they could be set free from behind the bars once "the truth" comes out.
In a photo posted on his official Facebook account, Revilla posed with Estrada beside a Christmas tree which is assumed to be inside the Philippine National Police's Custodial Center at Camp Crame.
The photo has a caption saying, "Hinde kami susuko sa [laban.] Lalabas pa rin ang katotohanan. Happy new year everyone!" with three heart emojis and three praying hands emojis.
The two celebrated their holidays behind bars for being allegedly involved in the P10-billion pork barrel scam. They still believe that the truth will set them free from plunder and graft charges. They have been detained for two years already.
Senator Juan Ponce Enrile was also detained for the same charges but was freed last August 2015 after he was allowed to post bail.
