The whole nation were utterly taken by surprise by the sneaky burial of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Contrary to the pronouncements of the Marcos family, the interment happened last Friday at 12nn. This sparked different protests among the Martial Law victims, the anti-Marcos groups and students.
Katipunan Avenue was flooded with around 2,500 students from Ateneo de Manila University, Miriam College and UP Diliman. Their cry? “Marcos Diktador, Hindi Bayani!” The avenue were almost blocked as they occupied both lanes at one point. As a sign of their protest, they asked the motorist to beep their horns as they shout “BUSINA, PARA SA HUSTISYA.”
However, not everyone appreciated the gesture, especially the motorists who got stuck in the traffic caused by the protest. Here’s one reaction which went viral across the social media
