Joseph Amoto, also known as Blakdyak, was found dead yesterday, November 21, 2016, in his house along Dapitan Street, in Sampaloc, Manila.
Blackdyak is popularly known for his songs “GoodBoy”, “Asin at Paminta” and “Modelong Charing”, during the 90’s.
He also made an appearance in films such as Alyas Boy Kano (1992), Squala (1998), Gangland (1998), Dahil May Isang Ikaw (1999), Asin at Paminta (1999), Weyt A Minut Kapeng Mainit (2001), and S2pid Luv (2002).
He passed away at the age of 46. His body was found lifeless, his head wrapped in a plastic bag.
According to Blakdyak’s wife, Twinkle Formaran, their son Tommy discovered his father’s body after he went looking for his father to wake him up for his next gig.
Authorities still have yet to point out the reason behind his death.
His family and friends see no possible cause for him to commit suicide. They also claim that drugs are not to blame, saying that he has been clean from using illegal drugs for quite some time.
According to the investigator handling his case, they see no proof or evidence of foul play.
