In Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC), Filipina Navy Officer Maycee Angga was acknowledged as the Best International Student on August 11.
It was during the parade that Angga was awarded in Dartmouth, UK at the British Royal Navy.
According to Manila Bulletin, she was the only female student among the batch of other international student coming from different countries namely Albania, Bahamas, Egypt, Libya, Qatar, UAE, Ukraine and UK, all of which she surpassed.
In this year's batch from BRNC, half of the 20 cadets who graduated were foreign students.
Angga made history as the very first Filipino who have attended and finished a training course of 30 weeks in the said naval college which have started on January 4. This information have been confirmed by the Philippine Navy and the UK Government as well.
Philippine Embassy representative Consul Rommel Romato have extended the Philippine Ambassador's congratulatory message to Maycee Angga.
