Drinking coffee in the morning is something done by everyone around the world. It has been our way to jumpstart our day and kick off those drowsiness from sleep to be able to do our activities for the day. But did you know that coffee, aside from its known disadvantages on causing insomnia or having a hard time to sleep at night, studies have rather suggested that it also affects the breasts' size of women.
According to the research done by the British Journal of Cancer, large amount of caffeine found in coffees affect hormones in the body. Three or more cups a day can significantly affect the size of your breasts, making it smaller.
Helena Jernstrom from Lund University in Sweden who led the study said, “Drinking coffee can have a major effect on breast size. Coffee-drinking women do not have to worry their breasts will shrink to nothing overnight.
“They will get smaller, but the breasts aren’t just going to disappear.”
“However, anyone who thinks they can tell which women are coffee drinkers just from their bra measurements will be disappointed.
“The problem is that there are two measures for a bra, the cup size and the girth, so you wouldn’t be able to tell.”
Her research shows that women who consume at least 3 cups a day has 17% smaller breasts on average than those who consume less.
