Internet sensation John Phillip Bughaw, better known as “Balang”, has always been very vocal of his dream to become a Zumba instructor when he grows up. He probably did not expect that he doesn’t have to wait several more years before his dream turns into reality because he is now a certified Zumba instructor .
On his Instagram account, the bubbly youngster shared a photo of himself holding his certificate, which shows that he can now teach Zumba.”Dream come true! I am now a Zumba instructor. Thank you Zumba,” he wrote.

He also had the opportunity to meet Colombian dancer and choreographer Alberto “Beto” Perez, the founder of Zumba during the Zumba Instructor Convention (ZinCon) in San Diego, California recently.
Balang became popular because of his dance videos on Youtube.
His energetic dance moves caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres and he graced the stage of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” three times already.
The first time he was invited to perform on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” was May last year.
Ellen and her studio audience were visibly impressed as Balang showed off his moves while also mouthing the lyrics of the song “Bang Bang”.
She exclaimed, “That was so entertaining! I could have watched that for another hour.“
As a reward for his performance, Ellen gave Balang lots of chocolate.
Last November, Balang appeared on the show for the second time and participated in a dance-off with the show’s DJ, tWitch. He was given a stationary bike as a gift.
The third time he was invited to the show was last February. Ellen noticed that he sported a different look than his previous appearances. Instead of dress shirts and suspenders, he wore a sleeveless animal print top.
Balang said his new look was inspired by pop sensation Justin Bieber, who had also praised Balang’s dance cover of his hit song “Sorry”.
A few days ago, he also caught the attention of award-winning American rapper Snoop Dogg.
On his Instagram account, Snoop Dogg reposted a video of the youngster showing his energetic Zumba moves.
