- Mocha Uson categorically denied reports of her getting a position at Customs
- She said she is just willing to help new BOC chief using her blog free of any charge
- She also told bashers they would be more productive instead if they volunteered at DSWD
MANILA, Philippines – Speaking up on reports about her supposed appointment at the Bureau of Customs (BOC), known Duterte stalwart Mocha Uson denied she was offered any official appointment by Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon.
According to Uson, she just committed her support to Faeldon and said her blog can be used to air the reforms being implemented at Customs free of charge.
“Through my blog in social media, I told him that I am willing to help sans salary or official position because I believe that not only President Duterte can initiate change,” she said.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Uson also told bashers to stop the hate and instead devote their energy to more productive pursuits — like helping the underprivileged by volunteering at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
“Kaysa mag-bash po tayo, ang advice ko eh lumabas po iyong mga bashers sa kalsada at umaksyon, tumulong po tayo. Make good use of your time,” she said. “Kaysa magbaba-bash kayo diyan eh umaksyon ka, mag-volunteer ka. Bisitahin mo iyong mga DSWD centers at kailangan nila mga volunteers para pakainin iyong mga bata, paliguan iyong mga bata. Kailangan din nila ng education.”
[Rather than bashing, my advice to you bashers is to go out into the streets and help. Make good use of your time. Rather than bashing, do something and help, be a volunteer. Visit the DSWD centers because they need volunteers to help feed and bathe the children there. They also need education.]
