A soldier’s foot is long buried in his grave as soon as he chooses to become one. His life is sacrificed for the nation’s safety and peace. His family will always fear for his life. He can never assure them that he will be back once he leaves.
A soldier’s sacrifice for his country cannot be weighed nor measured. And no money can compensate for the life that is about to be taken from him. And yet soldiers everywhere are underpaid.
Not many have considered this when they see a soldier around. Not a lot of people have considered extending their appreciation towards these living heroes, but this old woman did.
