The number of suspects killed have quickly escalated during the first few weeks of Duterte’s administration. The PNP claims that they are forced to shoot criminals when they fight back and appear as threat, which is apparently acceptable by law and feigned as self-defense on the part of the cops. However, people are now questioning how many of the deceased suspects have really fought?
A concerned netizen, recently posted a video of a hand-cuffed man on the ground who robbed a bus in Buendia. The video showed how three cops with guns surrounded the man and kicked him in the chest despite being hand-cuffed clearly showing no signs of fighting back.
In the comment section of the video, netizens were quick to report that the assumptions of the man who have posted the video was right, he have already been killed. Cops reported that the man fought and tried to steal a gun while on the police vehicle, the man was shot behind his head.
What people are now questioning is how was the man able to fight with his hand tied behind his back? Investigations are now being conducted as to what really happened inside the police vehicle.
