MANILA, Philippines – After a picture of Lone District of Lipa, Batangas Representative Vilma Santos-Recto and ‘FHM Sexiest Woman’ for this year, Jessy Mendiola, made rounds online, Luis Manzano opened up on the story behind it.
According to an article published by Philippine Entertainment Portal, the TV host-actor confirmed that Jessy met his mother after the veteran actress-turned-politician invited the two of them for dinner.
“My mom just invited us for dinner to talk and check up on me and also to meet and check up on Jessy regarding all the unwarranted bashing going her way,” he said.
Recently, Luis and Jessy admitted that they are going out.
Luis said it would be weird if he denied that they are dating because there are photos of two of them circulating online.
He said during the launch of the new season of “Minute To Win It: The Last Man Standing” on Monday, July 11: “Di kami puwede mag-deny because we have pictures online. Ang weird naman kung ide-deny ko iyon na may pictures online, kasi anything else, gagamitin against me. Sabi nga, isa sa pinakabugbog na statement bawat hearing yung ‘I invoke my right against self-incrimination’”.

Although he clarified that Jessy has nothing to do with his breakup with their fellow Kapamilya star Angel Locsin, a lot of people are still believe that the 23-year-old actress is the reason why Luis and Angel broke up.
