The first teaser trailer of the upcoming ABS-CBN series “The Greatest Love” easily became one of the most talked about subject on social media sites.
The two-minute video trailer had been released and several online users have expressed only praise and excitement over the trailer.
Many Twitter users shared just how moved they were by the story and how ‘very promising’ it looks. Other online users said they’re looking forward to the upcoming soap and they hope it’s sooner.
The positive reviews over the teaser trailer of “The Greatest Love” excites the TV series’ lead character, veteran Sylvia Sanchez, who also admitted that she is facing a lot of pressure. Hence, she is more determined than ever to work hard to meet the expectations of viewers.
This is, after all, her first lead role; something that she finds hard to believe as yet.
After the press conference on Thursday, Sanchez reportedly told the media: “I’m thankful and blessed. I’m honored na napunta sa akin ang role na ito. Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa nagsi-sink in sa akin na ako na ‘yung bida,” [I’m honored for getting this role. Up to now, it hasn’t sinked in yet that I’m the lead character.]
However, she acknowledges to her ‘children’ in the new series that: “…pamilya tayo rito, walang ibang bida kung hindi tayong lahat.”
In the TGL, Sanchez takes on the role of Gloria who’s a mother to four – as played by Dimples Romana, Andi Eigenmann, Matt Evans and Arron Villaflor. Many women could easily relate to her role, except that she is slowly suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
And because such an opportunity is rare, Sanchez expressed her desire to give her best in the series — which she gave a sneak peek of in the trailer below.
Moreover, there’s the Megastar Sharon Cuneta adding glitter to the soap as she had just recently recorded the official theme song of the series, “The Greatest Love of All.” Together with ABS-CBN’s Philharmonic Orchestra, Cuneta also marks her first time to record a new version of a song for a tv series.
