Newly installed Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Ronald De la Rosa vowed to lead the entire police force in the fight against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption.
In the video, shared by ABS-CBN, of his speech during the “Assumption of Command” ceremonies at the PNP Headquarters in Camp Crame, De la Rosa said his being the PNP chief is a God-given mission to be President Rodrigo Duterte’s right-hand man in his fight against drugs, criminality and corruption in order to give the Filipino people a safe, secured and comfortable life.
As the new PNP Chief, De la Rosa said he is the “father” of all policemen who will reward his good children and punish the erring ones.
“In our fight against drugs, criminality and corruption, it is either you are with me or you are not with me. If you are with me, then let’s do it. But if you are not with me, then you are finished,” he warned.
He said the PNP will be relentless in its internal cleansing efforts in order to eliminate scalawags from within its rank.
“Kayong mga nagko-kotong, abusado, tamad at sindikatong pulis, bilang na ang mga araw ninyo lalo na kayong pulis dito sa Metro Manila na pinagyayabang pa ninyo na kayo ang mga ninja… na kayo ang taga-recycle ng shabu,” he added.

He then gave rogue cops 48 hours to voluntarily surrender and to reveal to him everything they know or otherwise, just go AWOL and become full-time drug lords and fight the PNP.
