MANILA, Philippines – Congrats, Buboy!
Former child actor Robert “Buboy” Villar is on cloud nine right now after announcing his engagement with his American girlfriend Angillyn “Anggie” Gorens.
On his Facebook, Villar posted a picture of a smiling Gorens and captioned it with an announcement that they were engaged and soon to be married.
“Kami engage? Yes na yes! STRONG kami at walang makakapigil saamin mahal kita soon to be ASAWA KO,” read his post.
In an interview with PEP, the young actor gave more details on his engagement and impending wedding with Gorens. He said they have actually been living together for a month and are planning to get married in the United States next year.
He also revealed that her family is okay with the wedding since both of them are 18 years old and are old enough to know what they’re getting into.
“Before, nagkaroon ng problema kasi hindi nila alam pa. Ngayon naayos na at okey na kami ng family niya,” he said.
[Before there was a problem because they didn’t know about our relationship. Now her family is okay with me.]
Villar added he has made up his mind on having his forever after with Gorens despite what others would say about their age.
“Paninindigan namin ang pagmamahal naming ito. Tulad nga ng sinabi ko, destiny ito. Puwedeng may mangyari bukas, next year o sa ibang taon pa,” he said. “Pero nandito na ang mahal ko at hindi ko na siya pakakawalan. Gusto ko lang maging happy kaming dalawa.”
[We still stand up for our love. Like I said, this is destiny. Anything can happen next year or in another year. But my love here and I won’t let her go. I just want us both to become happy.]
