- Willie, heading WBR Entertainment, renews contract with GMA Network
GMA Network and WBR Entertainment’s pre-primetime variety game show Wowowin is going to bring more fun and prizes to its solid viewers as it is ready to launch two new segments.
The show hosted by Willie Revillame will be launching “Tawag ng Pangangailangan” and “Miss Wow 2016” this year.
Willie gave a glimpse f the upcoming segment “Tawag ng Pangangailangan” on Thursday, July 28, through calling (via phone) one contestant; the called contestant must verify his identity and answer a simple question to win.
The first contestant, a farmer, luckily succeeded in the challenge; thus, he will receive a cash prize amounting to P10,000.00, My View TV, Cherry Mobile cellphone, and a Wowowin jacket.
According to Willie, as per an article published by GMA News on Friday, he will call three to five persons for the said segment. Willing-to-be contestants can register, but how to do it will be announced once the game begins officially.
“Kung may pangangailangan sila na maibibigay namin, tatawag lang ako. Mag-re-register lang sila. Kahit nasaan sila sa Pilipinas, o kahit OFW, we’ll call you. Bibigyan namin ng something na makakatulong kahit papaano,” said Willie.
[If they need something that we can give, just call me. They need to register. Every where in the Philippines or even OFW, we’ll call you. We will give something that somehow, will help.]
Another segment to be launched is “Miss Wow 2016” wherein ladies will compete for beauty, wit, and talent.
Aside from the two mentioned upcoming segments, Willie said that there are still segments in-the-works.
Currently, Wowowin has seven segments namely Bigyan ng Jacket ‘Yan, Putukan Na!, Willie of Fortune, Pera O Kahon, Cash Salo, Patalbugan, and PayPayLog.
Meanwhile, Revillamae, heading WBR, also renewed his contract with GMA Network on Thursday.
