If the image captured on Google Earth is true, and not some natural illusion, people seem to think it has migrated to the other side of the world and has made its home off the coast of Deception Island, near Antarctica.
A video, posted by YouTube user wowforreeel in April, appears to have captured a large object near Deception Island. Wowforreeel wrote in their bio that the channel is not “a ‘serious’ UFO channel.”
This grainy image of the creature, that has been widely shared on social media, apparently shows it ’emerging’ out of the deep blue sea.
A conspiracy website has estimated the colossal squid-like beast, which was spotted on April 6, as being over 60 meters long. Scott C Waring, author of ufosightingsdaily.com wrote: “This looks like the Kraken. I used Google ruler and it says this is 30 metres (100 feet) from head to end, but the end looks like just the mid area of a giant squid, which means it could be 60+ meters long with tentacles.
According to Wikipedia.org, “the Kraken is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland. A number of authors over the years have postulated that the legend originated from sightings of giant squids that may grow to 12–15 meters (40–50 feet) in length, despite the fact that the creature in the original tales was not described as having tentacles and more closely resembled a whale or crab. The sheer size and fearsome appearance attributed to the kraken have made it a common ocean-dwelling monster in various fictional works.”
Youtube user wowforreel shared a video. The creature was sighted and pinned down the Google Earth coordinates as 63° 2’56.73?S 60°57’32.38?W. Watch here:
