This is perfect for those who wants to add a taste of culture in their trips, especially to the artsy souls out there!
Presenting…Museo Orlina in Tagaytay. It is an exhibit of sculptures made by the artist named Ramon Orlina. His work is not your ordinary sculptures. He is best known for his intricate glass sculptures. Yes, made of 100% glass, Orlina turns nothing into beauty. However, like any other good things, it takes quite some time to finish. A small sculpture, according to Orlina can take up to a month before finishing. On the other hand, large obras take up several months before it can be part of the museum.
But, what’s interesting about Ramon Molina is not just his love for art. With equal passion, he is also obsessed with Volkswagen Beetle! He owns, not only 1 beetle, not even 2 or 3, but 7 beautiful beetles! This includes the one with the artwork of the famous Baguio Artist- Ben Cabrera or more popularly known as BenCab. What’s more is that he also has miniature model cars in his office.
A lot of people have very good feedback about the museum. A netizen even mentioned in a comment that it was amazing saying “Nakapunta na ako dito..so amazing yung gawa niyang sculptures..gawa sa crystals..mkikilala mo lang yung shape nya pag tama yung angulo ng light..pati yung mga paintings magaganda rin ..”
It is definitely a must-go museum!
