A video footage showing a Chinese woman and her friends beating the alleged husband’s mistress in full public view emerged online and is making rounds on the internet.
Kara O’Neill mentioned in her article for Mirror Co UK published on June 28 that the group of women can be seen on the video shouting and hitting the alleged mistress after the group claimed she was seen with one of their husbands.
In the footage, which was said to have been recorded in Bozhou, east China’s Anhui province, the alleged mistress was seen topless and broken because of the fight, while the group and bystanders surrounded her.
The wife can be seen grabbing the alleged mistress by her hair then slamming her hardly on the floor. The wife didn’t stop there as she gave the alleged mistress numerous slaps across the face.
Due to helplessness, the alleged mistress stayed slumped to the floor, while another woman stared stomping on her head and back. The women then started pushing the alleged mistress around and then tries to take her clothes off further while she was crying.
An article by Sophie Williams for Mail Online said that an older woman tried to step in and stop the commotion; however, the sole woman was overpowered by the group who seems not satisfied on what they did to the alleged mistress.
The video also showed the other women taking out their mobile phones and started recording videos and taking pictures of the woman. One in the group even grabbed the girl’s hair and pushed her back so she can get a better recording as other women continued to slap her.
At one point, the woman who is believed to be the wife of the cheating husband askedd the victim “do you not recognize me?”
People who have seen the video have divided reactions as some said that what happened to the alleged mistress is justified while others believe that the actions of the group of women were too harsh. Or is it?
