The CEO of Hotel Sogo had a brilliant idea of expanding their market by creating rooms which are child-friendly. One of these rooms which has a new theme is the one filled with the designs of Hello Kitty.
“It’s just that we feel na if it is for lovers, pang-lovers lang iyan. Hindi puwede maging pang-family,” said Corpuz.
He wants to picture out in the future where the families would not be thinking twice about booking their rooms.
The newest reinvention of the management of Sogo is also in line with the launch of their newest brand ambassadors Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez who publicly announced that they are expecting their own child.
“If we continue to cater to just this small market [of Filipinos looking for a place to indulge in other activities], we cannot grow. We knew for quite some time now that it made sense to cater to different segments of the market,” Corpuz added.
He also said that having Mariel and Robin along with the upcoming baby is good for the image of the hotel stating that the “best ways to communicate to the general public that Hotel Sogo is more than just a [love] hotel.”
