• Senator Bongbong Marcos still top vice presidential choice
• The April 5 to 10 survey conducted by Pulse Asia for ABS-CBN showed Marcos with 27%
• Statistically tied at second place are Senator Chiz Escudero and Congresswoman Leni Robredo
Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. remained the top choice for vice president based on the results of the latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia for ABS-CBN network from April 5 to 10, 2016.
The survey result released on Tuesday, April 19, showed that Marcos was preferred by 27% of the 4,000 respondents.
The latest poll result showed a drop of only one percentage point from the result of the previous ABS-CBN survey conducted on March 29 to April 3 despite the attacks hurled against him by his rivals during the vice presidential debate held on April 10 at the University of Santo Tomas.
Senator Francis Escudero gained two percentage points to land at second place with 23%. Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo got a rating of 21% after getting a 1 point dip from her previous rating. The two are statistically tied given the survey’s +/- 1.5% margin of error.
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s running mate, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano landed on third spot with 17%. He gained 2% from his previous rating.
Senator Gregorio “Gringo” Honasan is fourth with 4%, while Senator Antonio Trillanes IV got 3%; a two-point loss from his rating in the previous survey.
