- James Reid addressed the demeaning article written about his girlfriend Nadine Lustre
- The Fil-Australian hunk actor posted in his Twitter account his sentiments as he points out why he fell for his love team partner
- James wrote: “Here’s some advice to those who read ‘How to be Nadine Lustre’ if you wanna find love, be someone worth loving”
Just like Clark of the popular TV hit series On The Wings of Love, James Reid protected Lea (the character portrayed by Nadine Lustre) against a demeaning article directed at his lady love.
As mentioned in an article published by Push on March 29, James took his response to his Twitter account to defend Nadine from the viral article that JaDine fans have been sharing on social media titled How to be Nadine Lustre by Inquirer’s sister publication Preen.
The article, which was taken down from the publication, essentially tackled how Nadine fared in the business and how she made her leading man James “fall” for her.
For his expression of support, James addressed the article’s writer on Twitter and took the time to point out what “she missed” about why he fell for his love team partner.
In his Twitter account, James wrote: “Here’s some advice to those who read ‘How to be Nadine Lustre’ if you wanna find love, be someone worth loving.”
JaDine fans, on the other hand, demanded for an apology and even made the writer’s name trend on Twitter.
Allegedly, the same author had also previously “shamed” other stars to include Liza Soberano.
Meanwhile, Preen issued an apology to James and Nadine— as well as JaDine fans— on Twitter immediately after the actor posted his sentiments.
Preen noted that they had since taken down the offending article as it vowed to look into their editorial process.
James and Nadine just concluded the successful European leg of their JaDine In Love World Tour.
