BOY ABUNDA
On September of 2015, host and talent manager Boy Abunda have decided to venture into the food industry and joined the food chain GoodAh.
After a year, Abunda opened up a branch at Timog Avenue situated where Ozone Disco formerly was.
His food chain supports his advocacy and foundation “Make Your Nanay Proud” (MYNP).
OGIE ALCASID
Ryu Ramen and Curry located on Tomas Morato Avenue is co-owned by Ogie Alcasid.
The restaurant later on opened up two other branches at UP Town Center and SM Jazz Residence in Makati City.
ARIANNE BAUTISTA
Tornado Peri-peri Chicken, co-owned by 23-year-old Arianne Bautista now has several branches in UP Teacher’s Village, Maginhawa street, Diliman, Tanza, Taft Avenue, Cavite, Puerto Princesa and Palawan.
The Kapuso talent is also expecting new branches in Cebu and Baguio
Richard Yap
Best known for his roles as ‘Papa Chen’ and ‘Sir Chief’, this Filipino-Chinese celebrity co-owns Wangfu Chinese Bistro and Luna J.
Luna J serves Filipino-themed home-cooked meals and can be found at II Terrazo, Tomas Morato Extension near ABS-CBN.
On the other hand, Wangfu already has two branches.
KRIS BERNAL
Actress Kris Bernal took two months of conceptualizing the interiors of her restaurant before she was able to open up her burger joint Meat Kris located at 120 Don Roces Avenue, QC.
Joel Torre
Some may not know this, but Joel Torre is the man behind JT’s Manukan. This explains the inasal resto’s name.
The said resto already has 12 branches up to date.
DINNA BONNEVIE
Victorino’s owned by Dinna Bonnevie and her husband DV Savalleno. The restaurant in 11th Jamboree Street, Scout Rallos, QC is known for its delicacies from Ilocos.
GLAIZA DE CASTRO and BIANCA KING
The Runner’s kitchen is an organic restaurant established by Glaiza, Bianca and a few other celebs. The restaurant located at Unit 2 Ground floor #74 Creekside Square, Tomas Morato Avenue, QC offers healthier options for its customers.
KEAN CIPRIANO
Kean along with bandmate Tatsi Jamnague are co-owners of Concho’s: The Home of Sisig Goodness. Its first branch opened 2 years ago in Marikina. It now has a branch at 140 Maginhawa Street, QC.
LOUISE DELOS REYES
The actress designed the amazing and Instagram-worthy interior of North Wing in Maginhawa street.
The food hub that serves delicious pasta, pizza, and steaks.
SHAMCEY SUPSUP
Craving for a Filipino festive feeling at a restaurant?
Shamcey Supsup and husband Lloyd Lee’s resto which they refer as their “other baby”, Pedro N’ Coi is for you.
Shamcey finished Architecture as a magna cum laude and her knowledge about interiors was proven as she instilled them on each branch with some help from Pinoy Pop culture.
Some meals that they offer are Sampol ni Dolphy, Sampol ni Panchito, Talong and Winding Road, and Chipangga.
They now have six branches with their original branch being located at Fishermall, Quezon City.
JEAN GARCIA
Jean’s Manila at 16 Roces Avenue, Quezon City, owned by the actress, serves the “best bopis”, according to reviews, and other comfor t foods such as adobo and crispy pata.
CESAR MONTANO
Bellissimo Ristorante or “beautiful restaurant” in Scout Rallos, QC serves italian-dishes such as pasta, pizza, back ribs, steaks and so much more.
PING MEDINA
Penpen’s Filipino Kitchen, owned by Ping Medina, has finally expanded into a bigger restaurant in G Romulo, Araneta Center, Quezon City.
Ping’s Filipino inspired restaurant is co-owned by his mom and brother and two other partners.
ROCCO NACINO
Rocco Nacino owner of Rufo’s in Timog Avenue, QC features a function room and a beer pong area for his customers.
ROMNICK SARNENTA AND HARLENE BAUTISTA
Spouses Romnick and Harlene has a Filipino-themed restaurant named ‘Salu’ which is derived form the Pinoy term “salu-salo” that refers to a food gathering by a group of people. Salu is currently located at 26-B Scout Torillo Corner Scout Fernandez Street, Sacred Heart, Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
The couple traveled around the country in order to try the different popular dishes of each region.
Binagoongang Kare-kare, Adobong Manok Laing, Balbacua, are some of their specialties, where each ingredient came from different parts of the country.
CHERRY PIE PICACHE
The Alab restaurant has greatly help actress Cherry Pie in recovering from the tragic death of her mother.
The restaurant co-owned by Chef Myke Sarthou features fine dishes such as Tinumok and Crispy Pata. It also features desserts such as Bibingka cheesecake.
The restaurant’s second branch is situated at UP Town Center
Victor Neri
Victor Neri left showbiz in 2007. In an interview with PEP, he told them that he feels that there’s no more growth and that it was already pointless for him to continue.
Victor studied culinary at the Le Courdon Bleu Culinary School in Thailand. He achieved his dream by 2015 as he established his own restaurant, Saute.
