Are you tired of your Barbies and you want some doll versions of your favorite celebrities? Alvin Dave Ocampo has got you.
Celebrities like Heart Evangelista, Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, the loveteam KathNiel, and Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach got their enormous doll versions thanks to the creativity and skill of Ocampo.
In an article by Pep.ph, the 23-year-old designer started making doll dresses back in 2011 and he can finish one mini-gown in a day.
He revealed that he is a big fan of fashion designers Francis Libiran, Michael Cinco, Rajo Laurel, Albert Andrada, and Mark Bumgarner and he is hoping to meet them soon.
Of course, the dolls were well-received especially from the celebrities who got their mini-me versions.
Heart said she was “ecstatic” on her Instagram account when she saw her doll version.
“…It’s meeee! Well, Barbie me!” she posted.
The dress was copied from Mark Bumgarner gown that Heart wore at her sister Camille Ongpauco’s wedding two weeks ago.
One of the hottest loveteams in the country also received some treatment from Ocampo. Ocampo took three months to perfect Kathryn Bernardo’s Michael Cinco gown that she wore in Star Magic Ball 2015.
The provocative dress, where Ann described it as “WAR-LA dress“, came from her movie The Gifted back in 2014.
Kapuso Primetime Queen also got her own doll version and it is based on her wedding. Ocampo took two months to finish the bride doll.
The 2015 Miss Universe did not only had one but two doll versions!
The national costume, designed by Albert Andrada, took Ocampo two weeks to finish as it comes with a headpiece and a fan.
But it only took a day for him to finish Pia’s winning royal blue gown.
