[I’m happy already that the team feels happy when I’m with them, and I feel the same way too when they’re with me.]
Pacquiao scored his first career basket last year when Mahindra Enforcers faced Rain or Shine Elasto Painter.
Although Mahindra was defeated, Pacquiao’s s first career basket became one of the highlights of the game.
He received a pass from his teammate Karl Dehesa on the left corner and hit a jumper in front of Rain or Shine’s Chris Tiu in the second quarter of the game.
In an article published by GMA News Online, Tiu said it was a legitimate basket for Pacquiao, although the latter said he just got lucky.
“Nagkataon sa akin pa naka-shoot si Manny. Pero legitimate ‘yun, legitimate field goal sa PBA,” he said.
[It just so happened that Manny scored against me, but it’s a legitimate field goal in PBA.]
Aside from his PBA comeback, Pacquiao will also have a boxing comeback.
In fact, Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum is scheduled to arrive in Manila on August 9 to meet hi and discuss his comeback fight.
Pacquiao announced his retirement after facing and defeating Bradley last April to focus on his political career.
However, he opened up recently that he plans return inside the boxing ring because he really misses boxing.
