The Incoming Budget Secretary Diokno, agree to lengthen the passport validity as some foreign visa are valid for 10 years.
They also target to lengthen the validity of Driver’s License from 3 to 5 years, NBI clearance validity, and eliminate expiration of Birth Certificate. This all to lessen the hassle of people lining up every time.
They also wishes to push through with the free wi-fi. According to Information and Communications Technology Office, 93% of the country can connect to this free wi-fi at the end of the year.
