When the #RunningManChallenge, a viral dance craze started by two high schoolers Kevin Vincent and Jerry Hall from Hillside, New Jersey, was made popular by two University of Maryland basketball players, Jaylen Brantley and Jared Nickens, it became an obsessive internet trend; with almost everyone from across the globe aiming to take part in it.
The challenge circulated quickly that not only NBA players and international and local celebrities worldwide participated in the dance off. Surprisingly, even police forces from New Zealand, Australia, the US, and the UK took on the challenge.
And now joining the bandwagon of popular running man challenge takers are our very own 11th Special Action Company “Liberators” from Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP-SAF). Answering to the global #RunningManChallenge to Law Enforcement Agencies initially posted by the New Zealand police, the PCRG PNP (or Police Community Relations Group-PNP) shared a 1:30 minute long video clip on its Facebook page showcasing our men in uniform’s cool side.
The post said: “The first #PhilippineNationalPolice unit to accept the #RunningManChallenge. Good Job 11th Special Action Company “Liberators” Pnp-SAF. They answer the global challenge to Law Enforcement Agencies. Bring it on!”
The video has been shared more than 18,500 times and has earned more than 1,800 comments as of posting.
These guys who deserve our respect for protecting the country’s pride and liberty also deserve a full round of applause for some kind of entertainment. Bet you can’t help but smile watching their moves to the beat of “My Boo.”
