Despite the worldwide efforts in campaigning against human trafficking, it is still very much present in many places. In many cases, children are still the most exploited ones, since they are very easy to lure and abduct.
This could have been the fate of 15-year-old Chrissy and her 14-year-old cousin, Shari who were strolling in the streets one fine day. A Lincoln town car suddenly stopped next to them and posed as their family friends. They were lured in and the next thing they knew, they were being forced into a prostitution ring. They were helpless and couldn't think of any way to escape.
"I was scared, unbelievably scared." said Chrissy.
They were then brought to truck stops, and are forced to go from truck to truck, soliciting truck drivers who would have s*x with them. It could have been the worst day of their lives if not for this kindhearted truck driver who immediately dialed 911 upon seeing the young girls.
"There are a couple of girls at the exit 167 trying to do business out there." he reported.
Upon the call, authorities immediately responded to the situation and were surprised to subdue 31 offenders at the site. They were able to rescue 7 other minors as well. They were able to actually stop the operations of the 13-state child trafficking ring.
"Because of that trucker I have a future." Chrissy shared.
Many netizens praised the trucker for standing up for the helpless little girls despite the fact that he might have been at risk as well.
