When Manny Pacquiao released his statement comparing the people who are indulged with same-gender marriage as ‘worse than animals’, different hits and blows were given to him by the online community. There are some that supported him, but many were against his words, saying that it was inappropriate.
Local Celebrities such as Boy Abunda, Lea Salonga, Aiza Seguerra, Vice Ganda and Yeng Constantino gave out their opinion towards the incident.
Now, the action star and PGT judge Robin Padilla calls Manny Pacquiao a hero, not because of the words that he said, but because of his heart that wants to help those who are in need.
Robin said, “My senator, public service is not selective. Protect those who are few, poor and weak. Religion has nothing to do with it or around it. My support to you will not change I still believe in your heart. Listen to it and trust it always. It will never mislead a HERO.”
A few weeks ago, Vice revealed that Robin respects him like a true lady since they are both judges from the PGT. He even mentioned how the actor calls him Miss Vice for he looks at him as if he is a true lady.
It only goes to show that Robin still supports Manny Pacquiao and his plans for the country if he will be elected as a senator.
