AlDub fans called out and bashed GMA writer Suzette Doctolero after she took a jab at them in one of her tweets. In her tweet, she said she hopes that one day, fans of celebrities will start tagging her at their own accomplishments and not at their idols’. Netizens believed she was pertaining to the fans of Maine Mendoza and Alden Richards. Her tweet read:

And i will say: hey congrats! Let’s celebrate! Cheers!”
AlDub fans were quick to hit back:

“You do have idea who these people you are referring to are you? Baka when you get to know these people one by one, mahihiya ka pati ang awards mo. And yeah, it’s 2018 soon, why don’t you look at yourself first & just MAYBE, you’ll learn why you so deserve the bashing you got.”

#justsaying”

Imagine? Gma’s biggest serye at sangkatutak na tvc sponsors at consistent highest rating? Ikaw writer tapos s bibig mo p manggagaling ang salitang flop? So,congrats samin.”

The GMA head writer became controversial in April last year when she said AlDub’s first teleserye, “Destined To Be Yours”, was a flop. She then claimed that thanks to her and her creative writing team, the teleserye gained traction and improved its ratings. Doctolero has since gained a lot of bashers, particularly fans of the phenomenal love team.
