"Umari agkos sina Fus-aran [Come, visit here in Buscalan]," this is what Apo Whang-Od said in a video as a message to the 'Ang Probinsyano' star, Coco Martin. It was Martin's page who shared the video with a caption: "Share this until it reaches Coco Martin. ;) maraming salamat po!!!"

Apo Whang-Od is 97-year-old traditional tattoo artist, the oldest in the craft, residing in Buscalan, Kalinga. According to some tourists, Whang-od is a huge fan of Coco Martin and even wears a t-shirt of Martin's serye, Ang Probinsyano.

A photo shared by Leah Belarmino featured the artist holding a piece of paper with words saying, ""Hi Coco Martin. I want to see you in person." The photo is currently going viral.

Whang-od was proposed to be a National Living Treasure which is currently being reviewed by the National Commission on Culture and the Arts.

Tattooed by: Whang-od Oggay Born in 1918 Apo Whang-od is the oldest and last traditional "mambabatok" (tattoo artist) of Kalinga, Philippines. She has been visited by several tourists, international and local actors, and has even been featured in several newspapers and magazines all over the world. In our short trip to visit her we found out that she is a big fan of Coco Martin and was even wearing a shirt with his recent series Ang Probinsyano. Also she was a bit shy and like a young girl that blushed a lot when we asked her to look at our mobile phones camera so we can send this video, with her fans and Coco's fan help let them both meet. For someone her age and yet still making the country proud and admired worldwide for her gift in art, I say letting her meet her crush. Share this until it reaches Coco Martin. ;) maraming salamat po!!!
