New Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa admitted that he has a crush on Angel Locsin, one of the actresses who portrayed the role of Darna.
In an article that was posted on ABS-CBN News, it was disclosed that Dela Rosa, gamely answered personal questions on the ABS-CBN’s morning show Umagang Kay Ganda. He even admitted having a crush on actress Angel Locsin.”Huwag na [nating] balik-balikan ‘yan, nagagalit na misis ko. Mamaya sigurado ako, mamalasin ako mamaya. Pero ito, sa totoo lang, in fairness crush ko si Angel Locsin. Maganda,” he said.
[Let’s stop talking about that, my wife is starting to get angry. I’m sure I will be scolded later. But seriously, I have a crush on Angel Locsin. She’s beautiful],” he said.
Dela Rosa is also one of the many people who are hoping to see Locsin on the big screen as Darna.
“Sana, sana. Oo [I hope, I hope. Yes],” he said.
Meanwhile, Dela Rosa wants either of the action stars Robin Padilla and Cesar Montano to portray him in a biopic if given a chance.
Bato, the former Davao City police chief, has taken over the entire PNP at the same time that his “mentor,” President Rodrigo Duterte, became the president and commander-in-chief.
