With the continuous price hike of gasoline and diesel in the world market, it continues to also affect out country. Every price hike becomes a burden to car owners, but moreover, to the jeepney drivers and taxi driver alike. But brace yourselves! Because finally a Filipino invented an device that powers diesel and gas engines with just water!

Noel Dazo was recently recognized as the ‘Outstanding Inventor of the Philippines’ with this invention which is said to have a big potential to cut down the cost of gasoline and diesel. The invention was named Water Fuel Hydrogen or Tubig na Gasolina. This can power all kinds of vehicles including jeepneys, tricycles, and even cars. The invention is said to have a lot of potential and may eventually replace diesel or gasoline as the main fuel for gas combustion engines.

Dazo graduated from the Southern Nevada College with the degree of Engineering and Computer Science. He uploaded a video on Youtube, in which he explains of how this might be able to help the country as we have jeepneys and tricycles as a popular means for transportation. He also added that water gasoline burns quickly thus cleaner. “With 3 times the power as standard petrol or diesel, and this, in turn, helps to fully ignite and burn the standard fuel going into the engine,” He said.

This is the second attempt of the same invention but not among the world as it has een successful in many countries already. The first one to attempt this invention here in the Philippines was Daniel Dingel way back 1969 as he claimed. However, he was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment when Formosa Plastics, his former employer where he wished to further his invention, successfully won a case against him.
