He told the reporters that no one will be evicted in their place unless they already have a new place to stay in.
He also added in the interview that during his term as the Davao Mayor for 22 years, he asked the real estate developers to allocate a budget for the people who will be affected by the project. After saying those words he then told everyone that he’s willing to apply it in the whole country.
He said;
He then stated that wherever they relocate the informal settlers, there should be an economic activity because if there’s nothing to do in the place they relocated, they will just return to their old home.
