A recent post shared by netizen Amara Faye Hamilton on Facebook shows the struggles of a kind elderly woman who stays up at late night outside the gates of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) just so she can sell her “kakanin”.
The netizen shared how moved he was with pity over the grandmother’s story – of how she has to stay up late and sell all of her wares just so she can afford medication.
In fact, the elderly woman forces herself to work despite the fact she had a stroke sometime in the past.
Netizen Hamilton pleaded to the online community to raise donations in order help this poor grandmother.

Fortunately Hamilton’s viral appeal to the online community worked – enough to spread far and wide, that generous netizens sent their support and donations.
Hamilton had a group of his friends go over to the grandmother’s house to pass along the blessings the netizens had given her – from groceries to medicine.
In a follow-up post, the netizen extended the gratitude of the grandmother who said she’ll be including all of the people who helped her in her prayers.
